Opcare’s London and surrounding area (OCS) covers 13 NHS Trusts, some of the most prestigious trusts in London. This includes Great Ormond Street, The National Hospital of Neuro and Neurosurgery, UCLH and Chelsea and Westminster to name a few.
OCS runs some of the leading MDT clinics in the UK, from joint diabetic clinic with the leading international diabetic podiatry surgeon, complex neuro clinic at NHNN, scoliosis clinic, complex paediatric clinics at Great Ormond Street and complex KAFO clinics.

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Orthotist who is looking for an opportunity to develop their career and be a part of our large and dynamic team in Great Ormond Street.
We can offer full-time or part-time job positions.
We currently have a position in Great Ormond Street.
The role will involve working with a complex clinical caseload, presenting exciting opportunities to develop clinical and leadership skillsets.
Due to working with some of London’s most prestigious hospitals, this opens the opportunity for career development into specialist areas and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Some of the key responsibilities the role holder will have include:
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality care for all patients and the smooth running of the service
* Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs)
* Input and lead on initiatives within the centre service development plan
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their orthotic needs
* Develop and implement personalised orthotic treatment plans
* Stay up to date with the latest advancements in orthotic technology and practices
* Provide excellent patient care, education, and support throughout the treatment process
* Assess, measure, cast, fit, supply, review, and adjust orthoses as required
* Maintain appropriate clinical notes
The role will be instrumental in helping to develop and implement service improvements for the betterment of patients in London and surrounding areas (OCS).
The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team, and be supported with local, regional, and national training to develop their clinical skills to support the service. We aim to deliver a first-class service for users whilst applying the most advanced and exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients.
Qualifications:
Either:
* Certified Orthotist
* HND Orthotics
* BSc Orthotics
Must also be fully HCPC Registered and preferably a member of BAPO.
