About the Role

This pivotal role involves managing safety, compliance, and continuous improvement processes to achieve operational excellence and deliver customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop teams, fostering a positive culture, strong morale, and high performance.
* Set clear objectives and manage performance, training, and staff development plans.
* Ensure production meets customer expectations and internal KPIs, identifying and addressing non-conformances effectively.
* Manage budgets, cost control, and equipment performance to maximise efficiency.
* Drive a safety-first culture by enforcing health, safety, and compliance standards, including conducting risk assessments and accident investigations.
* Lead and promote continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and other CI methodologies, to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience in manufacturing or factory operations at a senior level, ideally within FMCG or a similar sector.
* Strong leadership and team development skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, IOSH).
* Experience with continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to generate detailed operational reports.
