What You’ll Be Doing
* Teaching & Engagement: As a Science Teacher, you will design and deliver exciting and interactive lessons that captivate students and stimulate their interest in science.
* Curriculum Delivery: You’ll teach science across KS3 and KS4, and potentially KS5, ensuring that your lessons are tailored to the needs of each student.
* Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students’ development, preparing them for their GCSEs and beyond.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Science department to share resources, best practices, and contribute to the development of an innovative and engaging curriculum.
* Inspiring Future Scientists: Help foster a love for scientific inquiry and critical thinking, enabling students to connect theory with real-world applications.
About You
We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher who has a passion for inspiring the next generation of scientists. To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
* Qualifications: QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science).
* Experience: Previous experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4. Experience with KS5 is an advantage but not essential.
* Skills & Passion: A strong ability to communicate complex ideas in an engaging way, with a genuine passion for science and a commitment to student success.
* Classroom Management: Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to motivate and support students from diverse backgrounds.
