Main Duties of the Job
An opportunity has arisen to join the Cross-Sectional Imaging Department at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. We have a friendly, hardworking team of over 60 Radiographers. Due to continuing expansion, we are seeking enthusiastic, talented radiographers with skills and experience to join us at band 6.
You will rotate through CT, MRI and Neuro Interventional Angiography. We offer supportive induction and training which allows our radiographers to undertake both the routine and highly complex imaging undertaken here.

Job Responsibilities
The successful post holder will develop to become a key member of the Cross-sectional team with a high level of competence in specialist modalities of MRI, CT scanning and Neuro Interventional Angiography. You will be working on the Southampton General Hospital site and, as part of a rotation, off site in the Southampton city area.

* HCPC Registration
* Considerable post graduate experience of working in a department using IR(ME)R 2017 and IRR 2017 regulations in clinical practice
* Appropriate BSc Radiography degree

* Sound knowledge of all areas of Governance including H&S, COSHH, Manual Handling
* Experience of teaching, mentoring, and supporting colleagues training and development
