We’re currently undergoing recruitment for Line runners to join our client in the Church Stretton area. This is a full time, temp to perm position.
• Monday – Thursday
• 06:00 – 18:00
• Overtime available on some Fridays
• £13.50 per hour
Main roles and responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain production lines to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Load materials into machines as needed.
• Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications.
• Perform routine quality checks for defects, or other inconsistencies.
• Ensure finished products meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues on the line to minimize downtime.
• Escalate complex issues to maintenance or technical teams as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain production efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors about production progress and any challenges.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards for food-grade production.
• Record production data, including output counts, downtime, and maintenance activities.
Skills and Requirements:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
