We are looking for a Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our leisure centre in West London, with a key focus on wet-side operations. The Role: As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and well-maintained environment for all visitors. From managing lifeguarding teams to coordinating poolside operations, your leadership will play a crucial role in the facility’s success. You will also be a key holder, responsible for the opening and closing of the site during designated shifts. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations to ensure a high standard of service and safety. Supervise and coordinate maintenance and cleaning schedules. Manage pool plant operations, ensuring all checks and procedures are completed. Handle health & safety incidents, safeguarding concerns, and accident reporting. Coordinate events such as galas and holiday activities. Ensure an exceptional customer experience, addressing queries and concerns. Lead and motivate staff, ensuring performance targets are met. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in wet-side operations within the leisure industry. Supervisory or management experience, with the ability to lead a team. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations in a leisure setting. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive approach. Preferred Qualifications: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or willingness to work towards it. First Aid at Work certification (or willingness to obtain).
