The Role The purpose of the Health & Safety Advisor is to ensure Eurostampa operates in promoting all H&S frameworks to full legislative compliance with best practice in line with the values of the Eurostampa group strategy. The individual must be able to manage the day-to-day reporting, data analysis and promotion of Health & Safety systems throughout the organisation using its various communication tools. The key result area as priority is to safeguard employees, contractors, visitors and promote positive Health & Safety cultures within the organization. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure best practice working methods are carried out to safeguard employees, contractors, visitors and the general public s Health, Safety and Welfare. Use knowledge of H&S Legislation to ensure compliance across the business frameworks. Develop, implement, and integrate Behavioural Safety cultures within Eurostampa. Review existing H&S policies, procedures, and reporting methods to develop the site Safety strategy. Support the development of safe systems of work across each department and work activity. Conduct regular audits and challenge poor behaviours across both Management and Staff. Prepare educational briefings and awareness sessions where gaps or focus is required. Advise employees on various safety-related topics. Work with HR to continually develop employee on-boarding processes for site safety. Conduct on-boarding health and safety inductions Work with HR to support Occupational Health enquiries or assessments. Conduct RISK/COSHH assessments and ensure appropriate reviews and controls are in place and logged via document control registration. Enforce preventative measures arising from investigations are robust and validated where required. Prepare and present reports / statistics on accidents, near-misses, and site initiatives during business meetings. Manage Actions Trackers and proactive factory floor reporting methods. Coordinate One Point Lessons, Toolbox Talks and Safety Notices across the business. Coordinate and update responsibility changes with the First Aid and Fire Marshal trained personnel. Arrange external subcontracted assessments where required. Manage delicate information in line with GDPR of individuals. Cooperate and support the Management team to achieve Eurostampa H&S strategy. Manage health and safety duties such as updating of noticeboards, ordering of PPE etc. Implementation and management of departmental H&S champions and their roles and responsibilities Assist the Health and Safety Manager in all required capacities. Qualification / Experience: A NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent minimum is required (Required) Have a sufficient knowledge and understanding of H&S Legislation. (Required) Office 365 experience; Word, Excel, PPT, MS Teams etc (Preferred) Ideally possess Experience in a Manufacturing / Assembly or a Factory Environment. (Preferred) Personality & Skills: Be approachable and respectful of colleagues. Have a willingness to accept and adapt to change and a mind for continually improving processes. Take direction and develop strategy based on feedback and direction. Be proficient in numeracy and minor data analysis. Be able to work on your own initiative & collectively as a group.
