Purpose of the Role To provide on-site property management services to an exciting new build to rent development in the heart of Leeds comprising of 331 units. The Resident Services Advisor plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional living experience for all residents. Acting as the first point of contact, the Advisor provides friendly, efficient, and solution-focused support across a wide range of resident needs, including queries, maintenance requests, lease information, and community engagement. This role is all about creating a welcoming, safe, and responsive environment, ensuring that residents feel heard, supported, and valued throughout their tenancy. The Resident Services Advisor also helps foster a sense of community by assisting with events, communication, and day-to-day operations in line with company values and service standards. Key Responsibilities To work closely with the General Manager and other employed staff within the development in ensuring that the highest standards at the property or properties are maintained at all times. At the start of each day the RSA is to liaise with the night RSA on any issues from the previous evening followed by covering any notes made in the handover book and the desk diary. Establish a good working relationship with all of tenants of the development. To comply with and ensure that the obligation for health and safety and fire precautions are always met. To assist other employed staff, tenants and visitors in the event of an emergency. To acquire working knowledge of the technical equipment in the property / properties and be certain of how to obtain prompt assistance with defect or malfunctions that may arise. To carefully complete all log reports that may be required by the employer or the General Manager. The employee is not to undertake any task that may be a risk to their health and safety unless suitably trained. The RSA is to maintain an accurate log of all visitors to the building. Also to ensure contractors have risk assessments and permits. Where possible each occupying tenant should be contacted prior to allowing a visitor beyond reception, to obtain their authority. Personal appearance is to be of a very high standard at all times. To deal with all queries on site efficiently and professionally and as appropriate direct queries to third parties for action, ensuring the person raising the query is informed of the action taken, the expected outcome and the timeframe involved. To maintain all site records in line with operating procedures. A courteous, helpful nature must be displayed at all times. To sign in deliveries for the tenants if tenants are not at home. To document the delivery on the required paperwork and to obtain a signature from the tenants (upon providing evidence of ID) when they collect the goods. To report any repairs to the apartment or building to the Maintenance Operative. To assist and direct all visitors to the site in getting to their required location within the building. To answer the telephone and on-site intercom system in a professional manner. To carry out any other duties as the Managing Agents may from time to time consider necessary. To report lost or stolen door entry fobs to the Management team. To assist tenants with the check in and check out process. To keep up sound channels of communication with your line manager. In addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time Skills, Knowledge and Experience We need someone who can multi-task, is happy to take control, be accountable and who wants to work in an exciting and dynamic environment.
