We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Workshop Instructor/Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
The main purpose of this role is to support the department by working with staff and students in the workshop, ensuring equipment and resources are available to support student learning.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Giving demonstrations in the use of equipment, materials, and techniques.
2. Setting up and dismantling workshop assessments and EPA assessments.
3. Ensuring that equipment is in working order ready for learning sessions.
4. Maintaining standards of behaviour within the workshop and adherence to Health and Safety best practice.
5. Maintaining and keeping up-to-date inventories and records of equipment and materials.
6. Providing support to students.
7. Keeping the workshops and ancillary areas clean and in a fit and safe condition for use.
The successful candidate will have a Level 2 or equivalent in Motor Vehicle experience and recent relevant experience in the motor vehicle industry.
