Overview for our Service Advisor / Aftersales Advisor role:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless experience while providing exceptional service. This role requires a blend of customer service skills and mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with clients regarding their vehicle needs and recommend appropriate services.
Responsibilities for our Service Advisor / Aftersales Advisor vacancy:
• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their service needs.
• Provide detailed explanations of services recommended based on mechanical knowledge.
• Upsell additional services and products that enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Schedule appointments and maintain an organised workflow within the service department.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technology and industry trends to better assist customers.
Skills required for the successful Service Advisor / Aftersales Advisor :
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Proven ability in upselling services and products effectively.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and communicate them clearly to customers.
• Experience in cash handling with attention to detail in financial transactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information in an accessible manner.
• Organised approach to managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK DL
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.00 to 6.00. Saturday on a rota 8.30 – 1.00.
