As a Senior Digital Specialist -Support Enginee r, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional support to our digital users across Scotland. Through both scheduled and ad-hoc visits, you’ll ensure systems run smoothly and build positive, productive relationships throughout our organization. What you’ll do In this role, you will conduct regular and ad-hoc visits to Scottish Water sites, including those in remote areas such as the Highlands and Islands, with accommodation provided for longer trips as required. You’ll provide on-site technical support to maintain and enhance our digital systems, performing a range of tasks that support both service maintenance and digital project delivery. This includes setting up computers, mobile devices, and user accounts to ensure all users are digitally equipped and able to work effectively. You’ll maintain positive relationships with users, consistently upholding our high standards of customer service, and play an active role in promoting digital health and safety compliance across sites. Ensuring all locations meet our digital capability standards will be a priority, as will the recovery and management of unused IT equipment. You may also be called upon to assist other teams with their tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to Scottish Water’s collective success. What you’ll bring The ideal candidate will be capable, diligent, and dedicated to providing outstanding digital support. With proven hands-on experience in IT or digital support, you’ll be technically proficient in areas including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and troubleshooting modern desktop environments such as Windows 10/11. You should have a strong understanding of end-user computing and familiarity with the applications widely used in business settings. Confident, polite, and an effective communicator, you’ll bring a sincere passion for excellent customer service, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. You are a true team player who is ready to go the extra mile for colleagues, upholding professionalism and fostering a positive work environment. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively are essential for this role, as you’ll be supporting sites across Scotland. What’s in it for You? The not-so-small print This role will be a Grade 7. If you’re new to Scottish Water, you’ll join us on a starting salary of £41000.
