About the Role
Supporting the SENA Service manager in the in the leadership and management of the service ensuring the provision of strong case management and delivery of statutory duties.
Provide strong oversight and supervision of the SENA Senior Case Manager and Case Managers in delivering high quality SEN Assessments and Annual Reviews.
Maintain positive relationships with Children’s Social Care, CCG, Inclusion Service, Disabled Children’s service and other departmental service to ensure that EHCPs and Annual Reviews are multi-agency in nature.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

About You
To apply for this post, you must have
1. Relevant BTEC Higher, relevant NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
2. Substantial experience or equivalent work experiences.
3. Recent and relevant experience in a Special Educational Needs context.
4. Recent and relevant experience of managing a team
5. Knowledge of current educational legislation, regulations and guidance as they apply to special educational needs.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of the concepts and implications of special education needs Dependable and able to meet deadlines, when under pressure.
7. Ability to respond flexibly to changing demands.
You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
