Job Title: Creative Design Director
Salary: £50,000–£65,000 per annum
Working Arrangement: Remote, with travel to London once per month.
As the Creative Design Director, you’ll work closely with the editorial, marketing, and commercial teams to produce cutting-edge visuals that enhance the publication's digital presence. From designing bespoke WordPress sites to creating engaging video content, you’ll be a creative powerhouse driving the publication’s visual identity forward.
About You
You’re a creative problem-solver with the skills and experience to deliver exceptional designs in a digital-first environment. Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
* WordPress Expertise: Extensive experience designing custom-built WordPress sites with an intuitive understanding of UX/UI principles.
* Design Tool Mastery: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create eye-catching visuals.
* Video Content Creation: Proficiency in video editing software with experience producing short-form content tailored for digital platforms.
* Web Build Knowledge (Desirable): Familiarity with website builds, particularly within WordPress, is a bonus but not essential.
* Adaptable Creativity: The ability to pivot across mediums – from digital layouts to print and partnership assets – while maintaining a high standard of work.
* Cool Under Pressure: Strong organisational skills to deliver quality results, even when juggling multiple deadlines.
