As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact on the organisation's success., As a Decision Support Analyst in the Commercial Finance team, your primary responsibility will be to work alongside the Finance Business Partner, providing analysis and financial information to support the product and cost teams. This includes conducting ledger forensic analysis to ensure accuracy of financial information, reviewing monthly P&L statements, preparing NPV data, analysing costs, and updating Management Committee papers. You will actively participate in product and cost meetings and act as a deputy for the Finance Manager when needed. In addition, you will play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process by coordinating and driving it for designated products. This involves analysing trends and other management information to identify key issues and opportunities, completing financial modeling, and ensuring the accuracy of outputs. You will also be responsible for challenging assumptions, conducting scenario planning, supporting regulatory forecasting, providing
financial analysis and commercial support, and assisting with ad hoc requests from your manager and other areas of the Finance team. Strong PC skills, including MS Excel, and the ability to think logically, communicate effectively, manage deadlines, and work collaboratively in a customer-focused team are essential for success in this role. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in management accounting, financial modeling, and commercial experience.
