Fixed contract: from 01/04/2025 to 31/08/2026 Full time (35 hours/week) 1 position available We are looking for a Community Knowledge Analyst (CKA) to work as part of our Community Knowledge Hub team across the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews as part of our Wellcome-funded Institutional Research Cultures project, InFrame. The Community Knowledge Hub will provide bespoke pre- and post- award support, community building, knowledge-sharing, and critical cross-linking of projects funded through the InFrame Culture Catalyst Fund (CCF). The Community Knowledge Analyst will be a key member of this team working closely with the research community; a considerable proportion of this role will be spent working on several different CCF projects that will be led by various project leads in the research community. The Opportunity: The Community Knowledge Analyst role offers the opportunity to work across the three partner universities (University of Edinburgh, University of Glasgow and St Andrews) on a wide variety of projects to improve Research Cultures. The role holder will work with staff and students at all career stages and in all parts of each partner university to evaluate data and generate best practice guidance to support community-instigated projects and wider institutional decision making. The post holder will lead on identifying, assessing and building bodies of evidence from a variety of sources to enable research culture project leads to make the most of their project and embed change into business as usual at the partner universities, working closely with other Community Knowledge Analysts based at the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews. Your skills and attributes for success: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders. Strong analytical and evaluation skills, and the ability to analyse both quantitative and qualitative data. Ability to quickly understand how to support projects effectively and how to tailor approaches to different project types. Interest in Research Culture. £40,247 to £47,874 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £40,497 to £48,149 is planned to take effect from Spring 2025) (Grade 7)
