Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Director
Scantec Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Distribution Operations Manager to lead a senior team across E-commerce, Distribution, Warehouse & Planning.
This role requires a calm approach and exceptional leadership skills to manage a team of experts in a fast-paced facility.
The ideal candidate has a background in 3PL Operations / Distribution Management and experience with chilled streams. Located on 30,000 sq ft with 3PL seasonal warehousing and logistics support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a Senior team including Head of Planning, Head of E-Commerce
* Develop and own the annual plan to ensure seamless delivery and enable sales & marketing to maximise sales opportunities.
* Deliver for the eCommerce Retail Business Unit, ensuring day-to-day operational matters are addressed from start to finish.
* Maintain the highest standards of excellence in safety, quality, and hygiene to ensure customer orders are to specification and received on time.
* Establish strong relationships with external suppliers, including logistics partners, ensuring contractual and service requirements are delivered.
* Manage courier shipping providers, delivering to significant performance metrics.
* Accountable for effective stock management, warehouse organisation, and food traceability.
* Manage the operational facility, sourcing, training, and supervising colleagues.
* Provide visibility of accurate management information and KPIs to drive team performance.
A highly experienced Operations Manager with excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills is required to inject pace and dynamism into the facility and achieve KPIs.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
