Job Title: Programme Manager LCEP (The London Communities Emergencies Partnership)
Job Location: UKO, Moorgate, London Hybrid
Salary: £47,000 per annum based on 35 hours per week (Plus ILW if applicable)

The London Communities Emergencies Partnership (LCEP) is a partnership between London Plus and the VCS Emergencies Partnership within the British Red Cross.
Could you be responsible for the development and delivery of a high profile, complex and sector leading programme of work, as one half of a fast-developing, start-up team?
Can you work in partnership with the LCEP Partnership Manager and the LCEP co-chairs to ensure that together we are delivering on the LCEP goals and objectives?
Could you embed transformational change in the resilience ecosystem across London, working with staff and senior leaders in the London Resilience Forum, Greater London Authority, statutory partners and across the voluntary and community sector?
What will a Programme Manager's job involve?
1. Involved in the development of high level and detailed design of projects and programmes, including in process mapping, partner requirements, intelligence gathering and formal and informal engagement and consultation.
2. All programme documentation is complete and accurate enabling programme approval and setting up the programme, and projects, to succeed.
3. Multiple LCEP projects are delivered to time, quality and cost expectations concurrently and consecutively.
4. Strategies are identified, developed and implemented which enable partners to connect and collaborate constructively.
5. Strategies to enable successful transition to “collaborate by default” are identified and implemented.
6. Partners and stakeholders at all levels (including the most senior level) are identified and managed.
What will a Programme Manager need to be successful?
1. Recognised programme/project management accreditation/qualification or equivalent by experience.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar project software.
3. Proven ability to lead people through change and transition.
4. Experience of working in a matrix management environment, reporting to multiple sponsors.
5. Experience of supporting greater organisational maturity in programme and project management.
6. Proven knowledge of programme management methodology and its application.
7. Significant and up to date technical knowledge and skills in project and programme management techniques, processes and controls.
8. Substantial experience of successfully managing large programmes and multiple projects simultaneously delivering significant change, including projects with a technology and digital dimension.
9. Experience of developing and managing programme progress and performance reporting, presenting information clearly and concisely.
10. Managing internal and external relationships, helping negotiating solutions to complex problems.
