Monitoring Project OfficerYou’ll be part of the Trust’s internal consultancy: a flexible resource of specialist skills and expertise. As one of a multidisciplinary team of experts, including curators, fundraisers, building surveyors and project managers, you’ll be working with others to help make things happen. As this role covers the Midlands and East of England region, your contractual place of work will be the nearest National Trust consultancy office to your home. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week. You'll work closely with the regional archaeologists to recruit, train and support teams of volunteers carrying out the work and liaising with on-site property teams, to improve their skills and their understanding of how to care for the historic environment. You'll be working with ARCGIS online and field-maps to roll out a digital model across the region. You'll manage, update and use the Historic Buildings Sites and Monuments Record (HBSMR) to produce maps and documentation suitable for volunteer use. You'll input, analyse and prioritise data resulting from the monitoring work.You'll support with volunteer recruitment liaising with volunteers and property teams.
