Role Summary:
Reporting to the EMEA Chief Commercial Officer, Cognizant’s CMT (Communications, Media & Tech) Business Unit is looking for an experienced “Account Executive” to join their new business sales team. As a new business Account Executive, you are an enterprise sales professional experienced in selling to and opening new logo accounts.
Selling the full suite of Cognizant’s services and solutions, including market-leading capabilities in Digital, Data, AI, and Cloud, you know how to create value and drive business outcomes. This role will have responsibility for pursuing 10-15 targeted accounts, which will typically be oriented geographically but may include marquee accounts outside of the UK. The Account Executive will work with a Client Partner and a team that will support all sales pursuits, while an offshore team will provide targeted marketing into designated accounts.
Required Experience:
* Demonstrable track record in new business / net new logo sales for a large Tier 1 or Tier 2 GSI.
* Experience of working alongside and building relationships within major Telco, Hi-Tech, MNVOs, and ISVs.
* Experience of working for a Global Services Firm with onshore, nearshore, and offshore capabilities.
* Knowledge and experience selling similar services including Digital, Data, Cloud, Consulting, and application modernization.
* Demonstrable success selling deals in the $5 to $50M range.
* Demonstrable consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution selling model.
