Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Band 7 Dietitian to work in our Working Age Adults Hospital Service at Silverwood Hospital in Chertsey. This post is for 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
At SABP, we are passionate about ensuring that both the physical and emotional needs of people using our services are met. The post holder will have a high degree of autonomy, providing high-quality clinical care to people that use our services, as well as having a key role in supporting the development of skills across the Hospital Service in relation to screening for and meeting the dietetic needs of people using our services. You will also contribute to service and policy development.
Working Age Adults inpatient services support the needs of people coping with acute, complex mental health needs with a focus on empowerment and recovery.
The post holder will be passionate about the rights and welfare of people with mental health needs and see person-centred care as a cornerstone of their practice.
We have a department of nine specialist dietitians working in mental health, eating disorders, and learning disability across the Trust. Supervision is provided on an individual basis as well as peer supervision. We have strong links with the University of Surrey and support their placement students. SABP is a large organisation, and leadership development alongside CPD is actively encouraged.

We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.
We actively seek to engage people who use our services and our communities in improving the mental wellbeing of the local population. We work closely with other NHS and voluntary sector organisations who provide services and support people who use services and carers.
