We are supporting various customers worldwide. We are recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer for our customer. Position description: Senior Quality Engineer Tracking High voltage quality data with VO Plants Manage all project elements and present a 'live status' utilising customer developed flexible tool sets Provide a leadership presence on site, promote the shared methodology and common approach/ tool set Project health and performance via a shared common methodology is key to the success of this project Build trust, develop a close working relationship and ensure that the activities are delivered within the project timing parameters. Accommodate for temporary spikes in workload due to overlap between Platform (PF) and Tophat (TH) deliverables, without comprising required project services and considering key lessons learned from prior programs Position Responsibilities Track V54 HV warranty status - R/1000, CPU across vehicles lines and total Producing bowler charts with vehicle plants Run weekly ECB meetings for HV applications with VO plants Generate data from customer systems such as QLIK to show failure trends Track claims through ECB for HV applications Work with the commodity engineers to ensure 3MIS claims are correctly returned and status defined for FQR/DQR reviews Pro-actively analyse trends in warranty data across HV system and sub systems/ components Create quality R/1000 stack charts and be able to analyse field data to identify trends and failure modes across EV applications Carry out detailed analysis on failure mode claims – time in service, environmental conditions, time to sale, etc to identify data trends and potential root cause analysis Feed into FQR weekly meetings quality status and any special deep dive actions Align EU processes with North American team Work with North American quality teams on common metrics and reporting formats Raise BSAQs as required with PVT team and correctly bin warranty claims with ECB/BSAQ system Work with North American OPD Quality engineers across systems on warranty status and issue resolution if required Engage in early warning process lead by central quality team as required if with J1120 of program launch. Develop working relationships with interfacing teams Support warranty spend actions - target setting, spend tracking documents and warranty Spend PAT forum as required Support VQR review issue status and resolution Support senior management reviews Support PRA/PAC Process for any PHEV/FHEV & V36x HV items Input to White Alert Items Support QSF Process What you bring along: Skills experience Ability to quickly obtain and grow knowledge in a rapidly developing technology. Ability to analyse warranty trends, identify field claims and implement containments with D&R team input Start-up mentality – rapidly containing issues with can do attitude Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of the management team Experience of working with global teams Demonstrable experience of working independently Self-motivated with excellent diverse team working ethos Be flexible, dynamic and deliver high quality standards & performance levels consistently throughout the project Experience required: Prior OPD quality role experience and familiarity with relevant systems such as AWS, GCQIS, BSAQ, 14D, QLIK, Data dashboards etc Knowledge of current hybrid technologies would be beneficial but not essential Education required: Educated to degree level in suitable Engineering remit Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK.
