Regional Loss Prevention / Security Manager - UK/Ireland
Flexible location, ideally from Midlands up to the North.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Security Manager - UK to join our Client's growing global retail organisation. Reporting to the Global Security Manager (Retail), you will play a critical role in safeguarding our people, assets, and corporate reputation. With a strong focus on retail operations, loss prevention, and risk management, you will drive security initiatives across the UK & Ireland, while collaborating with teams in Europe and the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain strong external and internal security networks.
2. Identify and mitigate potential threats, risks, and vulnerabilities within retail operations.
3. Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for risk mitigation strategies.
4. Manage retail crime prevention programs and minimize stock losses.
5. Monitor and evaluate security guard performance and effectiveness.
6. Support security planning for new retail store openings and business events.
7. Ensure all security incidents are reported, investigated, and resolved with actionable recommendations.
8. Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and store security reviews.
9. Assist in corporate travel security, ensuring the safety of business travelers.
10. Lead crisis preparedness initiatives and oversee incident response efforts.
11. Promote innovation and operational efficiency in security practices.

Required Skills & Experience:
1. Expertise in security risk assessments and mitigation strategies within retail, logistics, or manufacturing.
2. Extensive experience in stock loss prevention, shrinkage control, and crime prevention.
3. Knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
4. Strong data analysis skills to identify security trends and report findings.
5. Understanding of relevant civil, criminal, and employment law.
6. Experience in corporate investigations, event security, and crisis management.
Experience:
1. Strong background in retail loss prevention, corporate security or a related field.
2. Proven expertise in retail security challenges, crime prevention, and stock loss controls.
3. Demonstrated ability to protect people, assets, and corporate reputation.
Travel Requirements:
1. Domestic and international travel may be required, depending on business needs.
Budget & Resource Management:
1. Support the Head of Group Security and Global Operations Manager (Retail) in optimizing financial and operational resources.
