Job Opening – Project Manager (remote / hybrid / Oxfordshire area)
We are recruiting a Project Manager (junior or experienced) to join our team based in Oxfordshire. This role incorporates Project Management, Resource Management and Client Communication.
As a Project Manager at XIST2, you will be primarily responsible for delivering end-to-end digital projects to our clients. You’ll need to walk a metaphorical tightrope of keeping the project team on schedule and on budget whilst maintaining great client relations throughout.
We’re a small team but with a strong heritage and reputation in the county and wider area. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to have a lasting impact on a growing agency.
Key responsibilities, in order of priority:
1. You’ll be a great communicator, able to easily build rapport with customers and provide the confidence clients need whilst keeping the project on track.
2. Lead and manage digital projects from capturing project requirements through to creating project plans and project completion.
3. Create and maintain project documentation and communication including status meeting reports, briefing documents, and functionality specifications.
4. Manage and maintain a positive team vibe with those you work with, as you’ll need them as much as they’ll need you.
5. A problem solver with a can-do attitude – anticipate issues and overcome them as challenges arise.
Skills and experience:
1. Strong written and verbal skills. It’s essential to be a strong relationship builder with people at all levels.
2. Good understanding of how digital and web solutions work, the technologies, and typical project lifecycle.
3. Experience with a project management tool, ideally ZOHO Project but not essential.
4. A team player – digital projects require a variety of skills and people within the team. You need to be confident in bringing people together and working toward the same goals.
5. Ideally located within a 30-50 mile radius of Oxford. A driving licence will be essential for face-to-face meetings with clients.
