Job Description
Duties for an Accounts Payable Controller:
* Report to the Finance Manager.
* Maintain the purchase ledger and manage payment runs.
* Oversee the purchase order and procurement process for UK Retail and AFH divisions in Maidenhead.
* Collaborate closely with the outsourced AP team overseas.
* Review and reconcile the AP ledger, resolving debit balances and aged items.
* Review unprocessed invoices and follow up with buyers or the AP team as needed.
* Assist associates with new vendor setup and maintenance to ensure compliance with company policy.
* Complete internal controls documentation and other compliance checks.
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, driving improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Controller should have:
* Proficient in SAP.
* Experience in managing purchase ledgers and purchase order processes.
* Background in working within the private sector.
* Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
* Capable of meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
