We are now seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with a carpentry bias to join an established team of engineers at a key site in Fawley, Southampton.:As a Maintenance Technician with a carpentry bias, you will play a vital role in both pre-planned and reactive maintenance for the site. You will be responsible for performing general carpentry repairs and maintenance across the site, ensuring the upkeep and safety of the premises. Working within a supportive team of existing engineers, you will ensure that all building maintenance tasks are carried out to the highest standards and in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities: * Perform carpentry-focused maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and upgrades across the site. * Carry out pre-planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule. * Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies. * Respond to and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently. * Participate in a call-out rota (1 in 5) to handle emergency maintenance requests outside of normal working hours. * Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to ensure site operations run smoothly.Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a carpentry bias. * Strong carpentry skills and experience in building repairs and installations. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Experience in pre-planned and reactive maintenance. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Willingness to participate in the on-call rota. * Full working rights in the UK.What We Offer: * Competitive salary based on experience. * 28 days annual leave + Bank Holidays. * Company insurance benefits. * Free parking at the site. * Company pension scheme. * Opportunity to work for the UK’s leading Facilities Management company. * A supportive, friendly team and the chance to join a well-established engineering team.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician with a carpentry bias to join a reputable company offering long-term career progression, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. #INDSOUTH
