Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, approachable person with a positive outlook to join the Health Board's busy and dynamic Bank and E-Rostering Team. The Bank Team are responsible for providing an efficient, high quality and professional Nurse Bank service to areas across the whole of Hywel Dda Health Board, liaising with bank and agency workers, ward staff and agency suppliers via phone and email. The role is fast-paced and varied requiring a passion for problem solving and strong IT skills. The successful candidate will need to work well in a team, be friendly, energetic and have a great work ethic. We are looking for someone who has a desire to develop excellent customer service skills and will provide full training for the role. Office cover is Monday to Sunday including bank holidays which is achieved via a rota, working approximately 1.5 in 4 weekends, dependent on service needs. Enhanced pay is available for weekend and bank holiday working. Main duties of the job To provide a nurse bank service for all clinical areas within Hywel Dda Health Board, covering Nursing and Healthcare Support Worker deficits for the whole Health Board. To coordinate reports, gathering and formatting information from a number of sources and submitting according to agreed deadlines. To check and validate the entries on worker timesheets and agency invoices against the bank electronic system. To assist with providing training on the use of the Bank Staff system and Employee on Line. Deal with any queries or complaints raised resolving them in a customer focused manner. Allocate shifts to staff based on the requirement of clinical and staff availability, using a live booking system. Record registration details of the registered nurse ensuring registrations with the Nursing and Midwifery council (NMC) are up to date, sending out reminders where necessary. Work in collaboration with bank administration, E-Rostering and payroll to resolve pay queries.
