Trosolwg o’r swydd:
Yr ydym yn chwilio am Weithwyr Gofal Plant Preswyl ymroddgar i ymuno â’n tîm, i gynnig gwasanaethau preswyl cynhwysfawr i blant a phobl ifanc. Eich rôl fydd sicrhau bod eu hanghenion corfforol, cymdeithasol ac emosiynol yn cael eu diwallu, gan feithrin eu datblygiad cyfannol a’u gwytnwch.
Yr hyn y byddwch chi’n ei wneud:
• Diogelu a hybu lles plant.
• Sefydlu strwythur, ffiniau a threfn, cefnogi pobl ifanc gyda’u haddysg a gweithgareddau dyddiol.
• Creu amgylchedd cynnes, caredig a chyfeillgar i blant diamddiffyn.
• Cyflawni dyletswyddau cysgu i mewn a gweithio oriau anghymdeithasol, gan gynnwys gwasanaeth effro drwy’r nos yn achlysurol.
• Arwain a mentora cydweithwyr, gan sicrhau tryloywder a gonestrwydd ym mhob gweithred.
Yr hyn rydym ni’n chwilio amdano:
• Natur gyfeillgar, ddibynadwy a chefnogol, gydag agwedd gadarnhaol at fywyd.
• Gallu datblygu perthnasoedd cadarnhaol ac adeiladol gyda’r plant yr ydych yn eu cefnogi.
• Profiad o gefnogi teuluoedd, gan ein bod yn defnyddio dull cyfannol yn ein harferion.
• Isafswm o ddwy flynedd o brofiad uniongyrchol yn gweithio gyda phlant a phobl ifanc mewn gofal preswyl (yn ddymunol, ond nid yn angenrheidiol).
• Lefel 3 mewn Ymarfer Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol Plant a Phobl Ifanc (neu gyfwerth).
• Safon dda o addysg, gyda Graddau C TGAU neu Lefel 2 FfCCh mewn Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol / Ymarfer Cymdeithasol (neu gyfwerth).

Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Residential Childcare Workers to join our team, offering comprehensive residential services to children and young people. Your role will be to ensure their physical, social, and emotional needs are met, fostering their holistic development and resilience.
What You Will Do:
• Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
• Establish structure, boundaries, and routines, supporting young people with their education and daily activities.
• Create a warm, kind, and friendly environment for vulnerable children.
• Undertake sleep-in duties and work unsociable hours, including occasional waking nights.
• Lead and mentor colleagues, ensuring transparency and openness in all actions.
What We Are Looking For:
• A friendly, trustworthy, and supportive nature with a positive outlook on life.
• Ability to build positive and constructive relationships with the children you support.
• Experience in supporting families, as we take a holistic approach to our practice.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience working with children and young people in residential care (preferred but not required).
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care Practice Children and Young People (or equivalent).
• A good standard of education, with GCSEs at Grade C level or a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care/Social Practice (or equivalent).

• Willingness to engage with the therapeutic model of care to meet the needs of children and young people.
