Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant for an urgent position in Croydon, Greater London. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Early Years educators in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.
Job Duties:
* Assist in planning and implementing activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children
* Support the teachers in creating a positive learning environment
* Help with the preparation of materials and resources for activities
* Supervise children during playtime and ensure their safety at all times
* Assist with record-keeping and reporting on children's progress
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Previous experience working with young children
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for working with children

Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of child development principles
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 Early Years Educator qualification
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working with young children in an educational setting. The candidate must be willing to undergo a DBS check and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
