The Role:
Holland & Barrett is expanding globally, and we are seeking a strategic Own Brand Sourcing Manager to drive cost-efficient sourcing, supplier performance, and sustainability across multiple product categories. As part of our global sourcing team, you will ensure high-quality, innovative products reach customers while optimizing costs and adhering to ethical and environmental standards. This role offers the chance to be a key player in the transformation of a fast-growing, international business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement global sourcing strategies for own-label products, focusing on cost, quality, and reliability.
2. Develop and manage Landed Cost models to inform procurement decisions.
3. Identify cost-saving opportunities through data analysis and Should-be cost models.
4. Drive supplier performance and continuous improvements in quality, lead times, and inventory.
5. Promote sustainable and ethical sourcing practices across the supply chain.
6. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor KPIs.
7. Streamline sourcing processes using lean methodologies.
8. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure regulatory compliance and product innovation.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in Nuneaton with requirements to be in the office twice a week.
The Person:
1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management (or equivalent).
2. In-depth knowledge of global supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
3. Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and cost optimization.
4. Experience from within the food and beverages industry would be advantageous.
5. Strong financial acumen and advanced Excel skills.
6. Commitment to sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
