Key Account Manager - Musculoskeletal - UK
Our client is a multinational pharmaceutical company with a specific vision of care by focusing on the acquisition of technological resources able to improve the quality of existing therapeutic solutions.
They are present in over 90 countries and are committed to improving patients' quality of life through the research and development of effective drugs and technologies that improve the quality of existing therapeutic solutions.
They are currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and expansion. Building on its strong reputation in Fertility, the organisation has launched its Musculoskeletal portfolio and is preparing for launches in Urogynaecology and Endocrinology, as well as Dermaesthetics.
As part of this expansion, they are recruiting a Key Account Manager to develop strong account plans, manage key accounts, and develop strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
It will require a combination of a high level of sales drive and creativity with excellent product and technical knowledge. In this role, the individual will be able to demonstrate and develop their capabilities and will be a valued member of the team, who really makes a difference.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Identify, map, and prioritise key customers and groups.
2. Drive a successful launch of new products within the Private Sector and NHS.
3. Establish rapport and gain regular access to identified target customers, effectively communicating the benefits of the UK offering.
4. Make effective, impactful presentations of our products and services.
5. Demonstrate excellent therapeutic and product knowledge and an ability to assimilate and use clinical data effectively to differentiate and promote products.
6. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
7. Provide solutions to customer problems by creatively using their UK knowledge, contacts, and resources.
Candidate profile:
1. Demonstrate strong Key Account Management skills, developed from a similar role in the UK Pharmaceutical or MedTech industries.
2. Evidence of ability to develop strong relationships with key personnel in customer units.
3. Evidence of creativity in penetrating key accounts and establishing contact with decision-makers.
4. At ease using scientific, practical, and commercial arguments in promoting products and services.
5. Science or life-science graduate preferable.
6. ABPI/ABHI qualified preferable.
