Summary We're recruiting for a Procurement Support Specialist to join us at the National Trust. The procurement team is currently made up of 8 people, spread geographically across the country led by the Head of Procurement.
As Procurement Support Specialist, you'll run various procurement processes to add new suppliers and monitor current suppliers that are critical to the organisation. You'll also provide management information based on the organisation's spend data, looking at ways of improving how we present and share this information.
What it's like to work here The Trust’s Procurement Team is a small, commercially focused team, based across the country providing training, guidance and advice on how to buy well and in line with our sustainability and ‘Everyone Welcome’ goals. We do most of our meetings virtually, however, we like to meet in person for regular team meetings. You may be required to travel to properties or regional hubs to meet with stakeholders.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there's flexibility on where you're based at other times. You'll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
