Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and empathetic Social Worker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with disabilities and their families, providing essential social services to ensure their overall well-being and successful integration into the community.
Responsibilities:
* Individualized Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs, strengths, and challenges.
* Counseling and Support: Provide counseling and emotional support to children with disabilities and their families, fostering resilience and coping mechanisms.
* Resource Navigation: Assist families in accessing community resources, services, and programs that support the unique needs of children with disabilities.
* Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and needs of children with disabilities, collaborating with educational institutions, healthcare providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Parental Education: Educate parents and caregivers on effective strategies for supporting children with disabilities at home and in the community.
* Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention services and support during challenging situations, collaborating with appropriate agencies as needed.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Social Work
* Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
* Knowledge of available community resources and support services.
* Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to advocacy
