The Local Academy Council is seeking to appoint a positive, proactive and friendly front of house Administrator with a passion for working with children in a diverse and busy Primary Academy office. Outline of duties; Provide front of house support to pupil and parent community, dealing with day to day enquiries and telephone calls/ relaying messages. Supporting pupils by ensuring a smooth transition to their learning day. Support the Attendance and Admissions Officer in carrying out their duties. Act as a First Aid point of contact for pupil injuries and ailments. Utilizing administrative software to support the operational functions of the main Academy Office (ParentPay, Bromcom, MyConcern, Parent Dojo). Contribute towards the maintenance of Staff HR files and the Online single Central Record. Monitor, record and process staff absences as and when they arise. Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with basic administrative duties- not exhaustive to the above duties as instructed by the Office Manager. Preferred skills and experience (not essential to application); Adult First Aid or Paediatric First Aid certified. Knowledge of safeguarding/ Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines with an awareness of the type of issues and sensitive matters that may arise from day to day school life. Experience of working with data management information systems. Administrative background particularly in working in fast paced office environments.
