Temporary Works Co-Ordinator

£54 per hour - Inside IR35

The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting an experienced Temporary Works Co-Ordinator to join a world-leading nuclear client working on the BEP project at Sellafield, Cumbria.
Job Overview:
The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site. The plant will play a vital role in Sellafield's 100-year clean-up program by encasing nuclear waste in concrete for modern storage.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver onsite control of erection, inspection, maintenance (where required), safe-use, and dismantling of TW.
2. Check erected TWs and control their use, maintenance (where required), and dismantling.
3. Produce and maintain a record of inspection during erection, use, maintenance (where required), and dismantling of TW.
4. Ensure relevant signs are identified and attached to key TW with higher footfall and/or risk, providing key information (e.g., dates, SWL, inspector, and authoriser).
5. Undertake TW design assurance on project by conducting audits and regular meetings with engineering and project teams, identifying best practices and areas for improvement.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant technical consultants and suppliers, managing their input in design, development, pricing, and delivery of technical solutions.
What do you need to succeed?
1. Up-to-date technical knowledge of temporary works controls.
2. At least 3 years' experience on similar projects.
3. Post engagement attendance at the in-house BEP TWC course.
4. Post engagement receipt of TWC appointment sanction from the TW DI.
5. Completed H&S training course (SMSTS, IOSH or equivalent).
