About the role
Vision for Education are working closely with a large special educational needs School who currently have a vacancy for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school. You will be working with children and young people with special educational needs such as SEMH, ASD and ADHD. The school are looking for someone who is passionate about working with SEN children and who can help make a positive impact on children’s lives. This is a fulltime role and is due to start ASAP.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
1. Experienced working with children aged 11-18yrs old with a range of SEMH and behavioural needs
2. Patient, resilient, calm and composed
3. Flexible and adaptable
4. Enthusiastic to provide bespoke learning experiences to vulnerable children
This is an outstanding and unique Special educational needs School in Folkestone with great facilities to name a few an onsite car park for all staff and visitors, sensory rooms and a great supportive SLT Team who are keen to see each member of staff succeed within the school.
