Cook (Garvagh, Coleraine)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cook to join a leading organisation based in Garvagh, Co Derry/Londonderry.
This is a Full-Time Permanent Position, available at 42.5 hours per week, working within Monday to Sunday 5am – 8pm (with a degree of flexibility required).
Job Role:
Working within a fast-paced kitchen, you will be responsible for assisting the chef in the safe and hygienic preparation and production of high-quality meals sold in store and maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a catering environment.
* Previous experience of all types of food preparation.
* Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures - you’ll have minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
* Commercial Awareness, and ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs and profitability.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
