We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Policy Assistant to join us!
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £24,170 - £27,313 per annum.
The appointed person will be offered the opportunity to undertake a fully funded Town Planning Assistant (Level 4) apprenticeship qualification, provided they meet the specified funding requirements, which are as follows:
Has Maths and English GCSE A-C (or equivalent)
Does not already have a degree in this subject
Has lived in the UK for at least 3 years
Lives in England
Is not currently in full time education

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Planning Policy Assistant to join our Planning Policy team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Planning Policy Manager, you will have responsibility for providing technical, monitoring and administrative support to the team, including assisting with planning policy consultations.
Your role will involve:
Managing the consultation portal, updating the Planning Policy webpages and assisting with consultations;
Collating data on new development for the Authorities Monitoring Report (AMR); and
Managing the team’s email in boxes and responding to queries.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working in an office environment
Has good written and verbal communication skills
Is able to complete tasks accurately
Has good IT skills and is able to deal with statistics
Is able to work as a member of a team.
