A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our Grid Technologies Substations and FACTs business. Your day-to-day involves leading the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving finance automation within the organization. You will oversee financial planning, manage risk, and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous optimization and digitalization initiatives.
How You'll Make an Impact
* You will be a guardian of the financial prerequisites throughout the business and will be responsible for the integrity of books and records as well as effective Risk Management and Internal Control System incl. remediation of deficiencies or internal/external audit findings.
* Lead the Financial Planning and Controlling activities.
* Responsible for leading and coaching the local business controlling team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines (e.g. Financial Reporting Guidelines), procedures and policies (e.g. IFRS) across the organization.
* You will provide guidance and direction to the finance/commercial community to ensure correct books and records including support of business in clarification of accounting matters.
* Drive continuous optimization with focus on synergies, cooperation, and output quality for accounting, controlling and reporting.
* Proactively drive and further build a strong digitalization footprint through finance automation and digital team upskilling.
* Effectively communicate financial insights, plans and dashboards to cross-functional team members and management in the organisation and HQ.
* Establish and execute measures for competency management, talent development, and succession planning within the team.
What You Bring
* Financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent University degree in Accounting/Finance).
* Well-grounded knowledge and comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and reporting according to IFRS.
* Proven experience in leading teams, projects, and processes, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines in a matrix-structured organization.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Tenacity and perseverance to translate requirements into working solutions and drive them to completion.
* Passionate and capable of driving digitalization and automation as an enabler for transformation.
* Proven knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Snowflake, Alteryx, Power BI and other digital tools.
