A 25hrs vacancy for a B8A Principal Clinical or Counselling Psychologist has arisen within South Glasgow Primary Care Mental Health Team (PCMHT). You’ll join an experienced and dedicated team comprising of a Consultant Psychologist/Team Lead, CBT Therapists, Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology (CAAPs), Mental Health Practitioners and admin staff and you’ll deliver a high quality Psychological Therapy service to individuals presenting with common mental health problems. You’ll contribute to the supervision of the practice of Psychological Therapists in the team. You’ll be line managed and supervised by the Consultant Psychologist/Team Lead and receive professional support and CPD opportunities from the large and dynamic South Glasgow Psychology Department. You’ll be an HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with experience in adult mental health, gained via training or post-qualification experience. You’ll be required to provide clinical placements to a range of trainees, including those undertaking the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, therefore you’ll have completed, or be eligible for, formal training in the supervision of others that is recognised by the DClinPsy programme. Newly qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologists and those approaching qualification are welcome to apply.
