Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to spend 6 months working as a Microsurgical Fellow in Plastic Surgery at QVH whilst developing your knowledge and post is suitable to any qualified candidate seeking experience to consolidate their skills prior to a consultant have a proud heritage and are known throughout the world for pioneering new and innovative techniques and treatments. Main duties of the job
The Senior Microsurgery Fellow post is a non-training post for practitioners specialising in Plastic Surgery and who have experience of microsurgery surgery. The post is a service post and in addition to the microsurgical commitment, there will be a degree of general plastic surgery include new patient and follow-up clinics and theatre sessions, and involvement in teaching and mentoring Fellow's educational supervisor will be available to discuss cases, debrief incidents and provide on-going support to the post-holder. Regular meetings between the post-holder and their educational supervisor are essential and the responsibility for ensuring those take place rests with the post-holder.

1. Eligible for full registration with the General Medical Council at the time of appointment and with a current licence to practice
2. Evidence of achievement of ST5/6 competencies in line with GMC standards in Good Medical Practice and supported by worked-based assessments of clinical performance and multisource feedback, or equivalent
3. Eligibility to work in the UK

4. Up-to-date ALS/ATLS certificate or equivalent
5. Out of hours experience relevant to the post
6. Experience in a surgical specialty at time of appointment
7. Able to critically assess own clinical practice/skills and accept constructive criticism and act on it accordingly
