Role Summary
This role combines strategic thinking with practical delivery. You’ll be responsible for setting the marketing direction, as well as writing content, launching campaigns, and managing social channels. You’ll work closely with leadership while remaining highly engaged in the day-to-day delivery of marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
* Develop and execute a B2B marketing strategy aligned to company growth targets.
* Plan, launch and optimise marketing campaigns (digital, email, and content-driven).
* Identify opportunities for brand and demand generation in key verticals and markets.
* Collaborate with leadership teams to align marketing goals with company growth targets.
* Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning.
Content Creation & Campaign Management
* Write and distribute press releases, blogs, and social media content to build brand awareness and media coverage.
* Create compelling case studies, customer success stories, and sales enablement materials.
* Maintain and update website content with support from the wider team.
* Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
Social Media
* Manage organic and paid social campaigns (mainly LinkedIn and Twitter).
* Build and maintain an active online presence for HLT.
* Track campaign performance using CRM and analytics tools, adjusting based on data.
Event Planning and Industry Engagement
* Plan, organise, and prepare for industry-related conferences and events, ensuring the company’s presence maximises exposure and opportunities.
* Coordinate the logistics, branding, and marketing materials required for events, including presentations, stands, and promotional items.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key objectives and maximise return on investment from conference participation.
Brand Management & Communication
* Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints.
* Act as the brand guardian for HLT, ensuring alignment in tone and messaging.
Collaboration
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams within HLT and other group companies to gather insights and support their marketing needs.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
* Track, analyse, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
* Monitor ROI and optimise campaigns to maximise impact.
Skills and Experience Required
* Proven track record in a B2B marketing role – ideally in SaaS, tech, or logistics.
* Ability to plan, execute and optimise marketing campaigns hands-on.
* Experience utilising website optimisation to generate leads.
* Excellent copywriting and content creation abilities for PR, social media, and web content.
* Solid grasp of digital channels, especially LinkedIn for B2B.
* Competence with marketing tools such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
* Experience managing external events or trade shows is a plus.
* Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
