We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our team. Based at our HQ in Cambridge, the successful candidate will report to our Business Development Manager and be responsible for managing our outbound sales activities by outbound calling, social selling, list building and via our CRM system, HubSpot.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate leads through outbound calling.
2. Use contact data tools and LinkedIn sales tools to identify new targets and create target lists.
3. Online research to identify new opportunities in offices and lab fit outs.
4. Maintain and update client databases within HubSpot CRM.
5. Monitor market trends and competitor activities and report on these.
6. Work with marketing team to drive sales through e-marketing and event-led targeting.
About you:
1. At least 3 years’ experience in a BD role.
2. Comfortable with outbound prospecting by phone, as well as by email.
3. Able to demonstrate examples of list building and target audience profiling.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software – ideally HubSpot.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
6. Strong presentation skills.
