Corporate Security Team Leader
Team leader for corporate head office location for the UK's No. 1 DIY retailer and associated data centre. Weekday hours but must be flexible should the need arise as both sites are manned 24 hours a day.
Pay Rate: £12.27
Main Duties
* Management presence on site when operations manager is not in attendance.
* Approachable and proactive in dealing with client needs and requests.
* The team leader will demonstrate their character as determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable always when welcoming clients and customers – ensuring ID badges are created, allocated, and collected when appropriate.
* Assist with managing site processes and systems including patrolling and reporting systems.
* Must be able to man the phones, emails, IT systems, CCTV, alarms, doors, and car park if need be.
* The security team leader must spot and stop all suspicious sightings or potential criminal activity and retain full control until the arrival of emergency services.
* Report to the Security Operations Manager – observations, issues, and any other relevant information regarding team and site.

* Should be able to work on own initiative.
* Corporate security experience preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
* Flexible approach to work to suit the business needs.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to go above and beyond to support the client and visitors.
* Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
* It is important the team leader is calm under pressure.
* Understand the Health and Safety at Work Act, relevant Criminal, Civil Law, and Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
* Door Supervision or Security Guarding License essential.
