What will I be doing?
The People Data and Systems Manager plays a crucial role in extracting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights and support strategic vision within the People team and across the business. The role will involve analysing data and identifying trends covering the employee life cycle and experience. The People Data and Systems Manager will need to collaborate closely with the wider People team and management across the business, to help guide strategies and improve organisational effectiveness.
The role will also involve supporting the maintenance of our People system and processes within this and will help to drive improvements and key deliverables for the wider team.
As part of your everyday role, you’re likely to be involved in the following:
1. Carrying out our People data reporting requirements, covering all aspects of data in the employee life cycle and experience, to agreed deadlines, producing both regular and ad hoc reports as required, for People team management and other stakeholders, including the Senior Management team.
2. Ensuring that reports meet stakeholder requirements and are easy to understand and interpret.
3. Creating/updating detailed and complex dashboards to support the People team and business needs.
4. Reviewing data and analysing data, producing reports that provide us with critical insights, which are presented in a clear, concise methodical way, through various methods,. Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, word etc.
5. Identifying discrepancies, outliers, and patterns within the data.
6. Adopting a flexible reporting style as required and providing in-depth financial and commercial-related people insights as required.
7. Completing market data reports as required, benchmarking and providing insightful information on relevant data, trends and best practices.

Ideally, we’re looking for:
8. Advanced experience with data management/reporting tools and databases.
9. Advance experience in creating detailed people data reports using various methods.
10. Advanced Excel skills.
11. Experience with Power BI / Jira
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. Excellent numeracy skills and experience.
14. Experience of having worked with data from many sources such HR platforms, ideally HiBob and cloud data warehouses, Salesforce, Survey Monkey, Google Analytics, Google Ads, etc
15. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
