Job Title: Head of Programme Delivery – Infrastructure
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. On-site.
Salary: £85k+ depending on skills and experience plus executive level benefits and relocation package available
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead and manage a programme management team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
* Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, providing guidance to Project Managers
* Liaise with other business functions to align project objectives with business goals
* Ensure PM governance and adherence to assurance processes
* Influence and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Develop and implement tailored PM practices, ensuring continuous improvement and best practices sharing
Your skills and experiences:
* University degree or equivalent in a relevant field
* Professional Project Management qualifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or an equivalent certification
* Extensive practical experience in project/programme management, preferably within infrastructure or similar industries
* Extensive knowledge of PM tools, techniques, and practices
* Experience in managing large complex programmes in highly regulated environments (Nuclear industries will be advantageous)
* Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
* Experience in managing and leading through business transformations

The infrastructure team:
The Head of Programme Delivery – Infrastructure oversees a multifaceted infrastructure programme made up of various projects, each handled by separate Project Managers. This position, reporting to a senior director, entails managing a programme team, ensuring project management governance, and coordinating with business functions. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
