A leading international law firm is seeking a talented and commercially-minded Real Estate Finance Associate to join its dynamic and highly regarded Finance & Projects team in central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with strong experience in real estate finance to take the next step in their legal career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
This position offers the chance to become an integral part of a top-tier Real Estate Finance practice, advising on high-value, often cross-border transactions. Acting for a prestigious client base - including major UK and global banks, debt funds, insurers, developers, property companies, and family offices - the successful candidate will enjoy exposure to a diverse range of work across:
1. Development finance
2. Investment and acquisition finance
3. Hotel and leisure finance
4. Mezzanine finance
5. Islamic finance
The team is involved in financing all major real estate asset classes, including PRS, student accommodation, logistics, office space, and mixed-use schemes.
Candidate Requirements:
1. 2-4 years' PQE gained within a well-regarded real estate finance or banking team.
2. A strong academic background and solid technical knowledge of finance transactions.
3. Experience acting for both lenders and borrowers on real estate finance deals.
4. Commercial acumen, excellent drafting skills, and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
5. A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the confidence to take initiative.
