Our client is seeking a Desktop Analyst to come join their well-established team based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Our client has a team of 80+ staff that provides a range of services from digital development and integration to server management and maintenance, as well as standard desktop and business application support. On a day-to-day basis, they manage and deliver all the IT systems and services needed by their partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the team with the development and maintenance of new features and facilities for the clients' website, intranet sites, and business systems, in line with user requirements defined by customers, project managers, or the Digital Manager.
2. Participate as a member of the second line Service Desk team responsible for operating the Desktop support function within the ICT Shared Service providing ICT services to our three partners.
3. Support the Desktop Analyst Team Leader(s) in the development and delivery of the ICT Service Plan and Service Improvement planning.
4. Provide ITIL second line Service Desk technical support to the user base (c.1800 staff) and support Democratic Services Teams with assisting their elected Members with ICT issues.
5. Provide technical input and active participation in project work delivery (as required).
6. Responsible for providing hands-on technical support to analyze and resolve a wide range of ICT technical queries and issues in a fast-paced environment, measured against published Service Level Agreements.
