Job Description:
The purpose of the job is to be one of a team of Customer and Facilities Assistants (CFA), providing direct support to customers and staff within one of four designated neighbourhood areas. They will be based within a designated building or be part of a CFA pool team that will operate across a number of facilities within one of the neighbourhoods. As a member of a neighbourhood team, the post holder will undertake a range of duties related to customer service and the day-to-day running and safe operation of buildings.
Job Scope:
The post holder will deliver a range of services to customers and staff including:
1. Handling general enquiries
2. Administering room lets
3. Setting up rooms and equipment in advance of community and council meetings
4. Ensuring rooms and spaces are clean and ready for use
5. Carrying out building compliance checks in accordance with council guidelines
The post holder will report to a designated Team Manager.
Experience And Qualifications:
Essential:
• Able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding of basic first-class customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
• Basic level IT skills.
Desirable:
• Customer care qualification or training.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, including the ability to carry out minor maintenance.
• Ability to travel independently as part of the job to conduct the role effectively.
