The successful applicant will be responsible for advanced functions within Gowan EMEA customer service & logistics team they will demonstrate advance problem-solving and communication skills along with a very high level of attention to detail. Provide key source of sales information for Business managers, external customers, internal supply chain and finance functions. This position r eports to EMEA Customer Service Manager. Responsibilities Receipt and entry of customer sales orders and contracts in assigned territory. Provide a service back up in customer service for other countries within the region. Process sales orders by preparing shipments for export liaise with labelling specialist to ensure proper labelling. Work with carriers/forwarders to process shipments by sea, truck or air. Ensuring that all exports are in strict compliance with customs import/export regulations, product registrations and the international carriage of dangerous goods, organize shipments with freight forwarders and shipping lines. Ensure compliance of all exporting regulations and guidelines. Must have familiarity with banking practice. Work with letters of credit and documentary collection for presentation; and collection through International Banks. Communicate with international warehouses for stock inventory and movement of orders for inventory reconciliation and payment of fees at the end of month. Invoice customers and process additional export documents required for each country. Maintenance of files ensuring they contain correct proof of export documentation for auditing purposes. Requirements and Qualifications Proficiency in Word processing, MS software such as PowerPoint, Word and excel is desirable as is familiarity with JDE enterprise one. Attend monthly meetings with each business manager to discuss open orders and forecast alignment Code service providers' invoices for approval and payment Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience in operational management of logistics preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
