Kitchen & Bar Manager – Golf Club
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
A well-established golf club in Colchester is seeking a hands-on, experienced Kitchen & Bar Manager to lead its front and back-of-house operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a sociable, daytime hospitality setting with a loyal membership base and regular event bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen and bar areas
Managing and training a small team, ensuring high standards of service and presentation
Taking responsibility for stock ordering, rota planning, and health & safety compliance
Preparing short-order food and supporting with light cooking during busy periods
Delivering excellent customer service to members, visitors, and event guests
Assisting with functions and society days, including food and drink planningWhat We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar kitchen, bar or hospitality management role
A confident, approachable leader who leads by example
Strong organisational skills with a good understanding of stock control and compliance
Flexible, hands-on, and happy to get involved in both front and back of house
